Hi,

my name is Matthias and I am in Geneva (living over the border) for 3 months now working at that strange CERN thingy. I like it, the area is nice (the mountains are great!) and work is exciting, it's a shame I know I'll have to leave by start of next year.

Being from Vienna, Austria there wasn't too much cultural shock when moving here apart from the language thing (and of course the housing market ;) ) BUT: I really miss jamming out as I did in Vienna at least once a week. I googled for rehearsel rooms in Geneva but could not find any yet. So if you want to play some easy rock we could team up, my drumming is awful but my guitar playing is awful in a positive way ;) . Most ideally we do language exchange at the same time.

But anyway, I am also very happy if I simply find some nice people to drink some beer after work.
