Soon-to-be new in Geneva
Hi all,

My name's Alina and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I will be moving to Geneva this September for 2 years. I will be attending IHEID for a Master in Political Science. I already have a BA in Political Science and Global Studies with a Research Specialization.

I don't think I have anything else to add at this point in time...Just thought I'd introduce myself! :)

Hello! :)

I too am moving to Geneva for two years and attending IHEID. I am doing the Development Studies program. I'm moving from Washington, DC.

Yeah, so far looking for a place to live has been hard trying to do it from here in the U.S, so I decided to arrive a month earlier in Geneva and hopefully find something before classes start in September.

Good luck!

Hey, I'm from Toronto too (and the source of the inside joke, I haven't had much luck with restaurants here, but a few expat veterans are showing me around now).

Let me know if you need any help!

(you will, they do things a little different here...)

The others aren't joking about finding a place to live, it's tough! If you can live in France, you might want to look into that. It's much cheaper too. France is the 905 of Geneva (Inside Toronto thing).
