Coming to Geneva in October and looking for any info/advice on:
- TO LAY MY HAT: looking for a 6 month flat-share (before my family join me). I’m already replying to offers on the ‘Market Place’. What else can I do to find a room/studio? How else can I find potential flatmates with the wit (or lack of it) to give me a room in their apartment?
- WINTER BLISS: I tried getting my battered snowboard fixed. The repair guy looked at it, shook his head and asked “What to do with old man”? I assume he meant the board. Anyway, where is an excellent place (range, value) to buy snowboards?
- ULTIMATE FRISBEE: I love chasing plastic with others. Is there any social ultimate group in Geneva?
- WEEKEND WARRIOR: What social sports activities are on at weekends, suitable for an newbie like me?

Apart from “Market place” you might try to see some adds on craigslist.com for room share/ apartment/studio. Geneva is relatively expensive place for almost everything so you'd better be give a second thought if you want to buy anything from Geneva. For weekend sports event, you ll find lots of sport activites on Glocals member activities.
