Wanted - Geneva Latinas!

No...I'm not after a date...just needed a catchy title!

I've been in Geneva over a year now and have made many friends from all walks of life... however, my better half and our young son of 6 months have just moved here to join me and unlike me, beer drinking & curry is not her idea of fun... but more specifically she has long hours at home during the day and although happy to finally be here, she would like to meet some other latinas to discuss Juanes, drink coffee, and find somewhere that has arepas and other home food comforts!

She is 29, originally from Colombia, fluent in German and good spoken English... but Latin America is her passion and I think she is missing her Latina gang in Frankfurt where we moved from. She is very giggly and friendly, intelligent and a very proud mother - she is partial to all types of cake and coffee...preferably colombian!

So, if anyone feels they are in a similar situation and would like to meet, or create the new 'Geneva Latinas' - Cristina would be happy to oblige.

Any suggestions welcome, I'm sure there are many Latinas like Cristina just waiting to meet and form new friendships.

Ok...It's not everyday you post an advert looking for a group of Latina women...so I'm savoring the moment...ok, I'm done! :D

Hey there!!! I was going to answer in spanish, but i think the language we must use here is only english :P

My name is Vanina, I'm from Argentina, and desperate aswell to find some Latinamerican friends!!! I've just mover to Suitzerland 2 weeks ago, and well, still trying to get involved... :P So far i can say its a very nice place!

Well, I definetly love cakes and coffe!!!!! So we should meet to have some spanish chats and share some nice cakes!!!

Why don't you ask The Mrs. to post something on Member-Activities about a get together of Latinos? I also volunteer to come to that activity...

It's still fairly gradual, we still have the place in Frankfurt, but Cristina is spending more time here now.
