I'm retired too, but still working as an English editor.  I don't really need to improve my French, but I think could help you to improve your English ;)  I come from Hong Kong originally and love to travel.  I'd be really interested to hear about your volunteer work in Asia, I worked for the ICRC a long time ago.

We definitely have one thing in common..... dogs, I have two little ones.  Maybe we could organise a little doggie reunion? The Chateau de Penthes is a lovely place to walk dogs.

I sent you a reply from my iphone, but I guess you didn't get it. I was invited to a friend's place for lunch on Sunday, so I couldn't make it, but I am free on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Your dog looks so sweet, I'd love to meet him :)  Mine are smaller, a little Havanese Bichon, Stella and a Shitsu, Chee Choo. They both have good natures and get on well with other dogs.

Wednesday is perfect for me, I am free all the day. I can meet you in front of the chateau de Penthes, tell me at witch time we can go for a walk.  I hope the weather will be good.

I suggest we meet on the terrace of the Chateau des Penthes restaurant, after lunch tomorrow at 14h. If the weather is bad, we could meet inside. I'll be wearing my dog walking gear, so I won't look like the photo which was taken at a dinner party a few years ago.  If you don't recognise me, Stella is a black bichon and Chee Choo is black and white.
