sounds like everyone makes an intro on this site... here is mine...
visitng geneva now but moving in jan for two years to work for an environmental ngo. traveled/lived/worked on every continet excpet for europe so am looking forward to something different. most recently i will be saying good bye to melbourne - one of my favourite cities to live in in the world so far - to move here. moved enough to know its always hard in the beginning moving anywhere and am happy i found this.

welcome to geneva mate. yup, it's a bit hard at first indeed, but you're coming to a great place to live it.
And you're coming just in time for the ski season. You must be a great skier, coming from cold Aussie...

Im in the same boat as you... Although i lived here a couple of years ago.. and then went back home to wonderful Melbourne town, i have now returned permanently as of a few months ago.....Geneva is not quite the same...its hard not to make comparisons... im discovering inspiring things about geneva all the time though...(its great being in the middle of europe!) If you fancy a coffee (dont ever expect a coffee of any melbourne standard here) or a glass of wine, email me, and we can meet up..? cheers.
