shiny and brand new

I'm moving to the Luzern area next week - I just picked up the 'living and working in switzerland book' and was so happy to find forums like this listed in it! My husband acquired a job in Stans and we are pretty excited to be moving (w/ our dog).  We're in limbo now - we should have flown out yesterday but our visa's weren't ready yet...but anyway, it's sad leaving friends in the US but we're excited about this adventure - good to see that there's lots of activities happening :)

Heya, Im sure you'll do just fine... everyone does, place takes a little bit of getting used to but its aiight. Especially if you are moving with family you'll have even less of an issue.

Just no matter what anyone tells you, not expect a big urban metropolitan - it aint that haha.

And if you get homesick, there's enough of us English speakers (and Americans) around to make up for that,
