Hello, Switzerland!
nice to meet you all! I am Sashka, and very soon I will be moving to Geneva for my internship and for experiencing the Swiss land:) I am super excited as well as super nervous about it, but i am sure it will be great!!!

Welcome neighbor and don't be nervous, we are not as bad as you heard ;) There are quite a few Ukrainians on here as well if you want to to keep up with the latest slang from back home...

As Catalin said, don't be too nervous, there's plenty of cool people here, and plenty in the same boat as you! I myself first came over for an internship, and I ended up coming back (for some reason).
It's an awesome country, with a diverse population! It may seem a little...quiet in Geneva, but don't fear, they've all escaped to the mountains (I say this in the hope that by the time you arrive, we actually have some snow, as at present, it's not looking good!).
How long will you be here for?
I'll hold the welcome until you're actually here, saying it now would be cheating!

@catalin: thnx a lot:) It's not bad, it is just expensive and realising that I am coming in less than a month and still being without accommodation makes me reaalllly crazy
@Chris: it's not rocky 'hello', it is more like...I didnt want to leave any city out;) Snow?!?! nono, it's too early. I mean snow is always good, when you are planning to go snowboarding or to make snow angels/snowmen, but not to walk around and enjoy....or?;)
Actually, I heard that Geneva is pretty calm city, but I browsed some of the groups here, on forum, I think it will be fun-fun-fun!:) I am coming for 3 months, but who knows.... maybe, the same like you, I will return later for some reason:D
