Only members can see names and photos

Chat is Working Again

Hi folks

We relaunched the chat / instant messenger yesterday, so you should all be seeing a blue 'Chat' bar at the bottom of your screen.

A few clarifications:

1. For now, people can only chat with their friends.
Once we confirm that the chat is working well, we will add the option to chat with non friends again (we will also add the option for people to choose who can chat with them)

2. When you login, your chat status is automatically set to 'Online / Available'
If you don't want your friends to be able to chat with you, just click on the 'chat' tab and change your status to 'Busy'

Thanks, and please let me know if you encounter any issues with the chat.

Hi guys, I just have my friends on the chat. I think it would be great to be able to chat with all the glocalers again :)

why do i also get a "video" button next to chat. these are all kinds of u-tube files....it only appears on the glocals site

The 'Video' tab lets you search for, and watch, YouTube videos without leaving glocals.

Additionally, if you send someone a link to a YouTube video in a chat, they can watch it without leaving glocals.

the chat is working for me but when I'm connected with
this instant chat I m not able to see or view any members details. normally there a link where u
see how many friends I have for ex 32, when I click this 32 I should be able to see who they
are , but now It say there is no members, same thing when I click on the all
members.I can see that 112 members online but if I click on it it says there is no
members,but in the chat I can see if there is some in
online.(friends)

I think it just the browser because, now I try to open it in Firefox and everything works fine,
what I found is that the script doesn't work well with Safari.
