I don't know if you noticed, but Glocals now (since 27th of June, according to the SSL cert) uses HTTPS and automatically redirects HTTP to HTTPS on all their pages.
For the neophytes, this means that the connection is encrypted and prevents anybody from sniffing your Glocals login and password when you are connected to an unsecured network (for instance an open WiFi).
Kudos to the site admins for this!
