Group activity: event invite request text and reply (accept) - need to go to mail storage

Hello,

When I publish a new event for my group,
and then somebody requests an invite to this event...

After I invite (accept) the requestor to attend this event,
actual invite request text is gone.

Why?

This is not good, I think it makes sense to post request/reply
into the organizer's Inbox/Sent mail.

Otherwise important info is often gone:
requestor user name, any follow up text, e-mail (if provided), etc.

What do you think?

Best regards,
Andrey

Hi Andrey and thanks a lot for your feedback.

Are you referring specifically to events that require Rsvp With Approval?
And suggesting that invites you send people be saved as messages in your outbox?

Or is your comment more general regarding all events?

Thanks

Oded

Hello Oded,

My specific case was related to events that require RSVP with Approval.

I recall there was an e-mail in the user "request to invite",
and after I sent the invite the request text was gone...
So now I cannot recover that e-mail and even the name of the person.

And you are right - may be the process of using Inbox/Sent mail folders
to automatically store request and reply can be be applied to all events.

But this should be verified - by checking the workflows for other events.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks and bext regards,
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

I agree with you that the invites should be saved.

I’ll need to dig in to see how this can be solved.

I’ll update here when I have news.

Thanks again,

Oded
