Groups (maybe elsewhere, too): changing focus removes text from the input-field

Wanted to write a comment in one of the groups.

I changed to another window to look something up - bang - text gone.

Can you fix that? It's the most annoying thing...

(indeed elsewhere too)

It's the same with writing in the talk box on an event - Flick to a different tab or application to copy some text or something, return to find text gone.

Booo!

There is an easy workaround for this.  Once you click back on the box and your text disappears, press Ctrl-Z twice.  The first press brings back the text "Post Your Comment Here", the second press brings back your original text.
