Hi I would like to know if there is any trick or workaround to put a long link in a posted activity without it being broken down.
or even better, is it possible to put assign a short text to hyperlink, i.e. if in my post I would like to publish something like this: "tour map" and have this hyperlinked to a google maps much longer link like the following:

I think that if you create an account in bit.ly, you will be able to give a proper name instead of a code.

Of course you can. Just write the text you want to link to, such as "tour map". Then select the text and the icon that looks like a fragment of a chain on the toolbar of the composing window becomes active. Click on it and you can enter your link in the box that opens. There you go!
