You should be able to chat with people who's status is shown as 'Available to chat'. 

Is this not working?

I have the same problem. My status keeps being busy and i can't get to change it, moreover all the contacts online seem to be busy as well all the time...

Oded, I have the same problem (not currently) and not all the time.. but it seems, I will set my chat to busy, sign off.. and ill remain online as 'busy' for a long time. When I sign back online, the box at the bottom wont load so I remain on busy. Sometimes it is a day or two before I can change it back.

since I joined glocals I've never been able to chat. My chat just doesn't work, it doesn't connect, I have a permanent loading chat window where I cannot even select my status.

Anything you can do to fix it?

My chat is dconstantly busy too...how to change it?

This problem is back for me as well, its completely random. Using latest Firefox.

As a side issue, when Im on my home page and I open my chat window to see which friends are online, OR, if a friend writes to me, the black advert for "Z44" sits ontop of , and blocks, half the pop up window.

A tad annoying, but I can live with it, if its on puprose.

From my part I would like to know how to change my chat profile/status?? And how can I see what is my chat status in fact? I have absolutely no clue, I see others can be busy but I don't even know for myself.
