Sending a Glocals activity link through Facebook email.

I sent a link to a friend, of a Glocals activity through FAcebook email, (he's not a member of Glocals - yet ;-) and the image related to the link was neither the organizer's profile pic, nor the image of the activity, but the profile pic of another member registered for the activity.

Is this normal?

Sorry if this was a bit unclear: the link I am talking about:

http://www.glocals.com/things-to-do/geneva/25586.htm

And the pic appearing was the one of the first member attending.

Yes, this is normal.

When you include a URL in a Facebook private message, Facebook's engine first goes looking at that URL and fetches an image from the page the link is pointing to, in order to provide the recipient with a "preview" of the URL.

It could have been any of the images present in the page you linked to.

Facebook has no way to tell who's the organiser of the event, neither that the URL is related to an event.  Facebook and Glocals are two completely different platforms.
