yes, i can access the page directly from 'settings' near my login name. but the thing is i cannot type anything on the boxes, it is disabled.

Yep - same for me - I cannot edit my display name, or enter my real name for that matter.  I want to change my display name as it was the first stupid name I thought of when I registered on here - but really, what sort of a dumb name is S99_Geneva???

I think its glocals mistake, they might have noticed it. But also it can be intentional. I have sent them the message as well, I hope they will answer it soon.

Hey Fredi...don't worry, that was for S99_Geneva. 

On the right of this page, You will see an orange vertical label, Feedback. Clicking on it should open a window (as on my picture above) through which, you may send your request directly to the site-owners. Although these forums are monitored by the site owners, you should increase your chances of getting under their radar if you send them a direct message.

Only the admin can change a person's name on glocals. You can request this by clicking on the Feedback tab that's on every page. 

The rationale behind that is to encourage people to stick with the their original names which other members recognize, and to discourage frequent name changes.
