tell you what: for each GoLer that shows up wearing a swim suit, we will double - of our own pockets - the guest's entry fee and give it all to charity.

So if you show up with a suit and pay CHF 20 at the door (which goes right to the UN's food program), we will put another CHF 20 in for charity.

Arriving in swimsuit why not? what wouldn't we do for charity purposes? ;) But definitly not spending the whole night without real clothes !!!

... Especially as I'll probably go directly to the airport after the party...

I really wish that I could join this party!! Unfortunately though, I have to fly to Lisbon for the weekend, to look at flats for my move there at the end of the month.

Since I have joined GOL I have met a few members... even got my cat Gris Gris from a member! I only wish that I had met more of you!!

With 19 cents, a schoolchild is fed for a meal or otherwise malnourished. By simply wearing swimsuit in the upcoming UN beach party (worth 40 CHF if I understand it right,20 from participants, 20 from some sponsors?), each of us is able to secure a schoolchild with a meal for a FULL academic year. (from World Food Program at http://www.wfp.org/food_aid/school_feeding/index.asp?section=12&sub_section=3

Wearing a swimsuit means donating a meal to a child for AN ACADEMIC YEAR, and help keeping them in school! Who as sane people would not do it?

I would certainly be surprised if not majority of sensible GOLers wearing swimsuit in the party. Isn’t it just a common theme party with swimming suit as dress code on the beach? And now we have one more positive incentive?

Let’s all have a fun night, celebrating our community now is 10,000 member strong; meanwhile providing a small extra contribution to the world of hunger which hopefully will soon be eradicated.

Some scarf should be allowed since it might be cold during the night. I bet more people will be joining very sane people like Tinkie, JacketChen, Julian and myself.

Salute to the sponsors for this generous offer. It is up to us to determine the scale of this charity donation by them. Let’s not disappoint them.
