Hello all.
I just found out that several GoL members were interviewed on the Discovery Channel's tv show "Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown" and spoke about GoL and about life in Geneva.
Rumor Says that the show was on tv a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone out there who can substantiate this rumor?
Anyone know when I can catch a re-run?
Im curious. Had no idea we were known worldwide.
Thanks.
Oded

The show, with 5 GoL members, indeed aired on US national television 2 weeks ago. The show focused on 'what's it like to live in Geneva', and 5 GoL members were invited to talk about Geneva and about what diffrence GoL can make in daily life.
They will send us a CD of the show by end March (the US works slow...(-: and then we will post it for all members to see.

...that's amazing!
What a coup to have them write about you!!
Living abroad is so in-vogue right now, it's easy to see the interest. You should really focus on that Nir!
Have you contacted "Let's Go" books? Or Frommers? They could write about GOL for people who travel to Geneva, vis-a-vis inter-railers who are looking for things to do in the city. Usually Geneva gets a bad rap for visitors. Not sure if you want random travellers to show up at GOL events, but it could raise your profile...
