Do you have a mobile strategy for the future? Without a responsive design or an android app it's still impossible to procrastinate here from my phone!

Ok, maybe that's a good thing... Laughing

Hi Paul,

Our strategy is to wait another year or 2 to see if these mobile phones and tablets will catch on or not :-)
Just kidding of course.

We know that not having an app / mobile friendly site is a killer and we're working on getting this fixed.  First step will be a mobile friendly site so people can at least use the current functionality.

I can't give an exact timeframe at the moment but we'll post more news about this soon.

Thanks a lot for the feedback,

Oded

What does "animal de reseaux" mean? I might have said something in the article that I'm going to regret...

Hi Nir,

"Animal de réseaux" means that you are great at networking. It's a compliment, I would say.

It's a fun expression that the journalist has invented.

Great job, I enjoy all the activities I am going to with Glocals.

Have a nice weekend,

Laure-Anne

If there are 80000 expats in Geneva, do you Know how many we are in "greater Geneva"?

Good question. The 80k was based on estimates from several years ago made back then by the Geneva Welcome Center, relating to expats working in 'white collar' jobs and their families.

I don't know if the estimate refers to Geneva City only, or to the Canton.

Good job Nir & Oded, really well done, impressive figures! Inspiration for us as well on how far a local ex-expat founded business can get!

Dear Nir & Oded, I never took the time to thank either of you, nor did I showed any gesture of gratefulness. I have made use of Glocals service for years and today I am taking this opportunity to really say how much Glocals means to me, to the users whether we express it or not.

I remember when you started Sindy's party, I also remember when you gave us the chance to choose a name for Glocals from the options presented. Glocals for me has always been a point of reference for anything that comes to my mind, I check on Glocals, for those coming from abroad I am sure they would agree Glocals is a home, first point of conatct with Geneva even before they land here. Glocals has facilitaed and found homes, friends, interests, opportunities and I can go on.

So thank you for excisting, thinking about how to make our lives easier and actualy handing over the keys of success to the members of Glocals, by creating this interactive platform that is so active, it truely empowes the users.

thank you for this Awesome work. Puja
