Howdy GoL'ers / Glocals,
This Monday (August 13) GenevaOnline.ch will become Glocals.com (a combination of Globals & Locals)
Here's what the name change really means:
Starting this Monday, when you go to www.GenevaOnline.ch, you'll get to exactly the same site as today. The only difference is that it will have the Glocals.com logo instead of the GenevaOnline one, and the url will automatically change to www.Glocals.com
We'll open a special 'name change feedback' forum to catch technical bugs and to capture any thoughts/feedback from you, so please let us know if you spot any probs next week.
New-name launch Beach Party - August 18
A new name, and reaching 12,000 members, is a good excuse for a party!
On Saturday, August 18, all Glocals/Gol'ers are invited to the first Glocals.com Beach Party, to celebrate the new Glocals.com name.
All profits go to charity. More details coming soon.

Seems that the mail we sent did not reach everyone, so we will be sending the mail out again later today.
We realize that we are bombarding you with mails, but we want to make sure everyone knows about the upcoming name change, and there are no surprizes on Monday.

Congrats, guys. 12,000 members!! Its seems yesterday I became the 10,000 (I know, I know, I am always saying it, but I am so proud!!). Anyway congrats to all the team!

sad to see this name go, but since i survived this weekend's hike with Julian, i'm just glad to be here to witness the start of a new name!

ads for Dr Pepper soft drink in the 80's and renewed slightly at the end of the 90's
I sometimes live just a bit away from Dublin, TX where one of the first Dr Pepper bottling facilities is located.
I don't need a prize :D
