USA gets a taste of its own

There is a saying in Nigeria: "The old God takes time to pass judgment, but the new God is pretty quick and fast in unleashing his own judgment".

The Algerian situation is not getting any better after the government was forced out...

Egypt was condemned, and the President is forced out and humiliated because of some vested interests both locally and from the international arena...

Libya took its turn and it is totally destroyed because its people went to the streets to protest for a life that will not be better than they get under Gaddafi...

Syria and Yemen are soon fully embroiled in civil war, because the people think they can get the kind of life and "freedom" (yes quoted, because there is nothing like freedom - its all hallucination) practiced in the western world.

On August 14, I posted a video of the speech delivered by Minister Louis Farrakhan at the Million March in Harlem. In that speech, the revered Minister echoed a similar sentence, that God will punish those that do wrong to the others. He accused the USA and the NATO allied states of wrongly attacking other countries purposely for their own vested interests. He then concluded by telling the world that America (USA) will soon and very soon get punished ... LOL... It’s not three (3) months since that fateful Million March speech, nearly the whole cities in USA are been taken over by popular protests. And hey, the police were not friendly either... here are some of their rages...

Well, as we all know, it always starts peacefully until one dead, then we shall see guns flying all around in USA (good that everyone carries a gun). Their time has come. Occupy Wall Street has come to stay.

The American main stream media did try everything possible to create a total media blockade/blackout about the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement. Unfortunately, it is a big smoke that can not be covered...The government through the police continues to clamp down on the people through a misdemeanor means (no noise making in the streets, no microphones, drums, etc... no sleeping in the streets and no loitering...), but the people changed the tactics, its now sign language until someone will say enough is enough...

CNN even tried to twist the movement into Democrats versus Republicans, but were rebuffed by the protestants. Now, they are trying to divert attention to other countries around the world - Egypt religious fight, Libya taking up Gaddafi home town, Yemen president quitting power, and lately Iran trying to kill Saudi envoy in USA, and only 5 second mention of their own real problem... YOU CAN NOT COVER SMOKE, it will leak!

The arrogant of the Americans is that, everyone else can do wrong with the exception of America. They even have the gut to say that the European financial problem is affecting USA. Yes it is, but what about the colossal impact their recession has had and still having on the whole world over ???

There used to be real professionals in the CIA’s operations directorate. One — Ray Close, a longtime CIA Arab specialist and former Chief of Station in Saudi Arabia — told me on Wednesday that we ought to ask ourselves a very simple question:

“If you were an Iranian undercover operative who was under instructions to hire a killer to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador in Washington, D.C., why in HELL would you consider it necessary to explain to a presumed Mexican [expletive deleted] that this murder was planned and would be paid for by a secret organization in Iran?

http://www.commondreams.org/view/2011/10/15-6

“Whoever concocted this tale wanted the ‘plot’ exposed … to precipitate a major crisis in relations between Iran and the United States. Which other government in the Middle East would like nothing better than to see those relations take a big step toward military confrontation?”

FBI Account of "Terror Plot" Suggests Sting Operation

by Gareth Porter

WASHINGTON - While the administration of Barack Obama vows to hold the Iranian government "accountable" for the alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in Washington, the legal document describing evidence in the case provides multiple indications that it was mainly the result of an FBI "sting" operation.

This 2004 provided by the Williamson County Jail shows Manssor Arbabsiar. Arbabsiar, a U.S. citizen who used to live in Corpus Christi, and a member of Iran's special foreign actions unit known as the Quds Force were charged in New York federal court Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, with conspiring to kill Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. Justice Department officials say the men tried to hire a purported member of a Mexican drug cartel to carry out the assassination with a bomb attack while Al-Jubeir dined at his favorite restaurant. (AP Photo/Williamson County Jail via Corpus Christi Caller-Times) Although the legal document, called an amended criminal complaint, implicates Iranian-American Manssor Arbabsiar and his cousin Ali Gholam Shakuri, an officer in the Iranian Quds Force, in a plan to assassinate Saudi Arabian Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir, it also suggests that the idea originated with and was strongly pushed by a undercover DEA informant, at the direction of the FBI.

The Iranian “Plot”
by ALEXANDER COCKBURN

First, a simple rule: utter absurdity in allegations leveled by the US government is no bar to a deferential hearing in our nation’s major conduits of official opinion.   Suppose the CIA leaks a secret national security review concluding that the moon is actually made of cheese, and the Chinese are planning to send up a pair of gigantic bio-engineered rats to breed in numbers sufficient to eat the cheese and thus sabotage US plans for Missile Defense radar deployment on the moon’s dark side.

The headlines will initially proclaim “Doubts on Chinese Rat Threat Widespread. Many scoff.”  The lead paragraphs in news stories in the New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal will quote the scoffers, but then “balance” will mandate respectful quotation from “intelligence sources”, faculty professors, think tank “experts” and the like, all eager to dance to the government’s tune: “Many say ‘rat  scenario ‘plausible’” etc etc. Lo and behold, by the end of a couple of days of such news stories, the Chinese rat plot is firmly ensconced as a  credible proposition. News reports  then turn to respectful discussion of the US government’s options in confronting and routing the Chinese rat threat: “Vice President says ‘all options are on the table” etc.  For verification, merely study the news stories  about the Iranian “plot” in the major papers across the past three days.

Here is an interesting talk by and discussion with University of Massachusetts Amherts Professor of Economics Richard Wolff on the current economic crisis, how seriious it is ("The worst in my lifetime"; "into its 5th year"), the root causes and a possible way out.  Schooled at Harvard, Stanford and Yale, Wolff is not the sort of economist one would expect coming out of the Ivy League.

He's witty, the talk is fact-based and logical and explains in my view why the OWS and other Occupy movements are catching on and resonating with so many from different walks of life.
