Just wanted to say that last night was a blast, even though we didn't have Dean or drinking games. Maybe not playing drinking games allowed me to be on time and on form for work today! :)
I hope the next night is on a Friday or Saturday, so we can really dive into the games, with little consequence.
The food was great, the service was not bad either and the location was better than bar seating.
Dean I'm sure we all hope you feel better soon.
Till the next night of fire eating.....
Cheers

Thanks to all for a great night. Enjoyed the food, the service was good, company was great. It was good to see the familiar faces and meet some new. My regret (as usual) is that I didn't get to speak with more people. This was my last "curry club" for a few months but I'll line up again when I return from Australia. Dean, get well soon.

After receiving a call from Dean asking telling me that he wasn't well and could I take over the evening I was apprehensive as he's a very hard act to follow. Thankfully everybody seemed to sort themselves out without too much prompting and once the food started coming (and it didn't seem to stop) the conversation on the tables filled the room with sound of people enjoying themselves.
With quite a few new people we had a traditional 30 sec intro for some, but the drinking games will be saved for another day with our MC Dean.
Hope to see Dean up and about for the next one.

Yes, it was a hard act to follow but Britabroad filled the shoes very well indeed. Now that my 30sec intro is long gone, I'm glad it still happens. Again, great night and thanks.

Yeah, felt like crap last week...Thanks Trev for stepping in... it would have been hard work cancelling at the last minute! I'm not often ill...and I certainly don't often lose the need for a curry... but alas, a bit of flu knocked me out!
Anyway - glad it all went well.
Dean.
