Even being member #1157, I joined my first ever NMD yesterday night. It was cool meeting so many new faces at the same time. I'm not that shy usualy, but I never believed it could be SO easy to meet so many friendly people so fast :-D
Being near the door, I just had to say "Looking for GOL ? Here we are, welcome ! I'm Hobbes / Xavier, nice to meet you ! What's your name ?" to start a conversation, that went one just naturally.
My only problem is, i do really suck with remembering names. So, remembering 40 new names and nicknames at the same time is just like swimming across the ocean without my duck shapped buoy. So if every person present yesterday would just drop a line, it would come very handy for everyone to get a bit of a "who's who / who was there".
Thanks in advance, and see you again soon ! (there are 3 activities going on tonight btw, and some people I met yesterday told me they'd go to the Open Mike night. I will for sure. CU there !)
