My very first day of freedom from the corporate world has been nothing short of wonderful surprises, from meeting a glocaler at the Planpalais startbucks in the morning on way to town while having a tour of who lives where in planpalais, having lunch with several glocalers at the Omnibus (thanks Free for organizing lunch and to all the men who joined the lovely afternoon) to having coffee in the old town with friends, and then bumping into 3 more glocalers next to manor on my way to DaVinci's. It just amazes me at how many people I bump into in the middle of the streets, all thanks to the Glocal connection.
Thanks to so many who stopped by Davinci's last night for a final drink. I was touched to see so many folks, especially those who I've not seen for a long time, or since lunch time in some cases. :P
I can safely say that the world meets in Geneva. I've met the most wonderful folks here in Geneva through Glocals. Thanks Nir and Oded for starting this up. I will miss seeing my friends on regular basis, but I will be reading and following you all from the other side of the pond. Should you have friends Geneva that are now in NY, do have them connect with me so I can continue to have my geneva connection in NY.
See you again in Geneva or elsewhere soon! ;)
