Beauty Night!
"Happy Birthday Jolanta" (not sure of the spelling) - Thanks for organising such a great event for last night. The beauty tips will come in handy and the direct translating was an added bonus! Nice meeting you and other friendly GOLers around the table. Thanks once again and look forward to the next Beauty activity you have up your sleeve... :-)

Girls, thank you so much for coming yesterday to very first “Beauty Night”! We were 20 GoLadies and Yvann, our beauty expert, that kindly agreed last minute to replace the lady that was supposed to come.

Remember:
- Moisturize your skin before applying foundation.
- If you a young chick (up to 30 years old), you can use liquid foundation+powder, but if you have some wrinkles already, avoid using powder (the wrinkles will be more visible!). Use compact foundation instead.
- Liquid eyeliner: apply a thin line right on the brim of the eyelid. To draw a curve going up, in order to make your look more intense, use eye shadow first if you are not used to a liquid eyeliner, and then put the eyeliner on top (easy, hein?!)
- To make your eyes look more intense, use dark colors and black pencil inside the eye. To make your eyes bigger, use light colors and white pencil inside the eye.
- To make your lips look thicker, use concealer right under the lower lip; use a regular lip pencil to draw a line above your upper lip and inside the lower lip. Use a white pencil for the upper lip to draw aside the regular pencil for the lips.
- Mascara: use one that curls your eyelashes but avoid using an eyelash curler, because it breaks your lashes.
- Eyebrows: don’t pluck them from the top, always from the inside. Instead of using a pencil to shape them, you can also use regular eye shadow. The will get a more natural effect.

These are just some tips!
Looking forward to seeing you all at the next one!

Best,
Iolly

Thanks Iolly for organizing such a fun night. The pretty desserts were a nice treat.
Luckily I made it home with one lovely purple eye and one regular eye without bumping into anyone I know or any comments from fellow tram goers. Good thing it was late sunday night.
I had to laugh seeing the (male) bartenders watching the demonstrations. I wonder what they will do with all the beauty tips they picked up.

and convinced me to start using it properly! It does wonders indeed (when carefully applied). Thanks Mama for the great evening, had a great time picking up all the beauty tips and learnt a lot of new things about make up. I really enjoyed it!
Yvan was great and really nice of him speaking english and trying whatever we asked him to!!

When is the next one? Can we have an hairstylist there as well??

Vale - saw the light on the way to beauty :)

Just remembered another tip:

- if you have blue or green eyes do not wear blue or green eyeshadow; it will wash out the colour of your eyes.
