Beauty Night 2

Thanks Lolly for organising such a wonderful activity for all us girls out there that love to be pampered. There was nothing better to do on a rainy Sunday than come together with all the nice Beauty GOLers to meet up in an exquisite hotel suite with a rose petal theme that was so beautiful and even more tasteful with the delicious cocktail and drinks you served us as we arrived. The skin and make-up expert, Mimi was so informative and a true professional. The Thai massage was painful but effective. I never realised how sensitive I was until I said a little less pressure and still had to cover my mouth with the towel..he..he..I will definently be going to there practice in the coming weeks, and well, not to mention my haircut at the end of the evening. Lolly, you definently got the Hairdresser to transform my hair into a lovely and more manageable style...I loved it...It's the first time that I've come from a hairdresser's visit in Geneva and been so happy....yippee....Thank you...I had so much fun and would love to do it agian...Awesome event!!!!!

.. nothing better then a beautyday with GOL girls to recover from a nasty case of foamy eyes. When i woke up yesterday everything was blurred and grey and down ... and I almost cancelled the beauty day. I have to say that I've never been happier that Katri didn;t let me cancel ... and that I came over.
The Pampering was exactly what i needed. the massage was so good that for the first time in 2 months my shoulder feels like i haven't spent most of my days overworking on my laptop ... (and that is rare indeed). The skin care and make up session was really nice and I finally learnt the truth about what's good and why for my skin. It flest just SO right being vain and talking about make up and products on a rainy sunday! and the haircut was just .. wow!!
It's the first time in Geneva that I tell the hairstylist what I want (which is a general concept, nothing too detailed) and they come up with something that IS what i want, looks nice with my curls and doesn;t need styiling and hs of drying ... so i look like out of the hairdresser even when I do it at home.
I've never been happier and more proud of my new hair cut, and seems that some members of the opposite sex notced that too!

Iolly, the fact that it was so wet yesterday just made the event even more fun. It felt like a sorority party. The best 50fr I think I've spent EVER, let alone in Geneva!!!
The Thai massage alone was worth more than anything and to get a haircut too which I'm told makes me look younger...(just 21 now ;-$) Well!!
Had such a laugh with Cathy and Chris...you pair are so funny.

was even appreciated by one of the 3 Thai girls who agreed to come along on a Sunday and pamper 25 unpampered for a very long time girls!!! After having my massage done (which was heaven, I must admit), I decided to offer my nimble hands to one of the Thai masseuse......OK, so she giggled a lot 'cause I probably had a crap technique compared to her professional touch BUT she did let me massage her for at least 15 minutes, so it couldn't have been that bad :-)
As for my hair, I got it blow dried straight (makes a change from my normal head of curls) but it was just such a pity it was raining outside.....thus, the good work of the hairdresser was undone in about 5' as soon as I got out of the hotel and into the rainy night!
And, I now know how to look after my skin (even though with the 10 million cigarettes I smoke, face creams and tonics are probably not gonna do much anyway!!).
Thank you very much iolly for the wonderful Beauty night. It was nice meeting new faces (and in the end, new hair do's as well) and looking forward to find out what will be in store for the next one.
