It was a great happening and we had an enjoyable day in nice company with fantastic cyling weather.
The Funny weather forecast caused many last minute cancellations as Nuno told me, we were four in the train leaving Lausanne and three more joined at Morat train station.
There we started biking the 34km long circuit around lake Morat - there were bikers, in-line riders, runners, many families - the slow-up attracted around apparently 50'000 people.
Stopping from time to time to catch-up, we had a picnic at the lake side and the weather stayed great all day long (see pictures).
We (me and my wife) liked very much the try-out of the ebikes which gives you the feeling of having twice the normal cycling power, and going uphill is similar to cycling on a flat road.
Thanks Nuno for the organisation - without your initiative, I would certainly have missed this enjoyable event.
