Well anyone who visited the GOL book sale at the Fete de Rue in Grottes would tell you that it was a fabulous day. The weather was perfect; not too hot, not too cold and even though we moved mid way that turned out to be fortunate as we moved just as we lost the shade.
Rob and Patrizia were great company for the day and Kunta and his delightful daughter came and spent a happy afternoon. We grazed happily on food from all over the world: Somalian, Mauritian, Ethiopian, Columbian and more. There was music to listen to and lots of lovely GOL'ers coming past to say hi.
Best of all we sold more than 50 books and made a chunk of money for charity. The other definite outcome was that we decided that it was too much fun not to do it again... so watch this space for the next one!
