OK guys, I'll post something first, as there are some funny "incidents" to share :-)
First of all, thank you to the following GoLers for joining me on this Casino "premiere": Rasputin, Trytim, Sweetdream, ManishMenda, Elena_B, Ocin, Mimi, YouMeCo, SwissKiss, Sjofn, Stikingmind, Tinkerbell78 and her friends, gijskrimp, Rocker, Laurent_68 and Chillout. We were 20 plus me...awsome.
I arrived a bit late (!), as I had to go back home to get the champagne that stayed in the fridge.......upps...and when I was about to take my first picture, my camera "died" on me. Must have been the limousine effect :-)Thank God Chillout, YouMeCo and Sweetdream had these cool mobile phones with a ton of pixels!!! Let's see how the pics come out!
The first group took the limo, we popped the champagne, arrived at the Casino, all good. When the second group was on its way, I got some phone calls from the participants saying the limo broke down..."Very funny", I thought to myself. Well, it did stop for a while but finally continued to the Casino!
So, we had 2 tables of Texas Holdem in the Lounge area (just for us!), drinks, food to nibble, and when we started playing, the rules became a little more clear! In the end, some went to the tables outside the lounge, played real money and won!!!!! Begginers' luck :-) It was tough to leave....
We had not one, but two limos to drive us back (what else could we ask for?!). Arrived at Cornavin almost simoultaneously and you should have seen how people were staring at us! Have to say, it actually felt pretty good!
Just arrived home, and you know what (%@*!?+- me thinking out loud...)?! My camera suddenly works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
If it was too perfect, wouldn't be fun. I loved organising this event and hope you guys had a great time. Feel free to share your thoughts here, good or bad!

Thanks for the great (and very brave!) event, and don't worry about the limo, it was a once in a life time opportunity to be laughed at by the people in a bus when you're in black tie and a limo ;) The overall glam was fantastic, people were very nice and poker is a great game. I suggest we do actual poker nights afterwards for people who did enjoy the game (no strip poker, I'm afraid of women!) :)

Oh, Iolly, thank you so much for this wonderful night! The lounge room, the limo and the overall atmosphere were absolutely gorgeous! And I met so many interesting and friendly people!
I agree with Rasputin, we should organise more GOL poker nights - I really enjoyed the feeling of chips in my hands :)

20 sharply dressed GoL'ers meeting in front of Cornavin was already an attention-catching event and this loooong white limo landing smoothly right in front of us made the show. The Bond-Girls took the (lucky ;)) first ride to the Casino du Lac, shortly followed by the remaining people...
A stranded limo in a dark alley behind the cargo train station, eight dressed up boys, two attractive Bond-girls, bottles of champagne... that all just looked sooo suspicious we were surprised no police cruiser came to check us out!
The poker "seminar" was a real fun! We truly enjoyed the experience

A great night indeed!! walking up to the Cornavin taxi station, I immediatlely knew which was the GOL group as they were obviously overdressed!! Last time i was in such a large stretch limo was nearly 20 yrs ago for my prom.
I'd love to start an evening of light poker myself, however, I fear playing with Elena, as I can tell by the way she holds her chips she's a closet Pro!!! Don't let that beautiful innocent smile fool ya (lol!!)
