First of all, thanks to all parents and kids who made it for yesterday's event. We started the day at the parking lot of the restaurant at Perle du Lac (not very exciting, but you should have seen how lively it looks when everybody showed up!), heading out to Coppet to a painting studio called "Glazy Days". Parents and children painted elephants, mugs, plates, etc.
Reminder: everything will be ready next Saturday. I will pick up the master pieces and distribute them to the participants.
Then, lunch at McDonald's (let's skip this less glamour part!).
Last but not least, wonderful horse ridding, combing, feeding...the poneys were sooooooo cute, nice, adorable! I must say I way extremely impressed with the little ones who were very brave and worked as a team while ridding their poney (one was ridding while the other was leading the poney), and with the older kids for ridding like pros after 3 minutes only!!!

given that we too led the ponies as well to help the little kids?
:-P
It was another great "Iolly Productions"s day!!!
I'm looking forward to see the result of ceramic painting (including the pot-head I painted myself, will you cook Nir's head in the hoven as well? :-P)
And the pony riding...
The kids are still so excited that Sofia_Tsunami (yes she has a GOL-like Nickname too) goes on jumping around whenever she sees a horse on picture or on TV!
A great occasion to show new members that GOL is not ONLY nightclubbing and party going, but it's over all about being friends and having fun with them.
Advice of the day is from Brownsugah: the rear mirrors in the car are not (only) for make up ;-P
:-P

Hi All,
Thanks to Lolly for the organization of this event. Normally, I?f i have to spend a whole day with my boy, I complain till the sun comes down (as we say in Africa), but yesterday was such fun!!! For those of you still concerned, Imani's head is back to it's original size after the Glazy Days incident.
Stef, you were so sweet about the incident with the cars ... I apologize for my disregard and owe you a call - posibly tomorrow, Mondaay, 1 May 2006. Regarding the make-up, that wasn't the reason i reversed into you. I forgot you were following me as i knew the place and thought you were stalking me - kinda like Dory in Finding Nemo.
Am glad I came coz I met really nice people and made new friends. Almost forgot it was all about the kids!!! Thanks Nir and Lolly for helping with Imani.¨

I loved it, and I saw all the kids (even Stef) did as well. And the ponys did too (except maybe the one who had to carry stef).
Seriously - it was a great day, and well organised. Was a pleasure to meet all the parents and have the kids out for a great day.
Iolla - thanks for organising!
