Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Phoebe and Tigger did a great job again. The ang pao (red envelopes) are sure to bring prosperity and good luck to us all this year.
Even though I arrived late and had to play catch up, it was a great night of dancing with cameras flashing everywhere.
The ladies in their qi paos all looked great.
The place is cozy and warm.
As usual, the GOL crowd was friendly and fun. It was great to catch up with those I knew and even meet some people for the first time.
xie xie (thanks) for organizing.

Woof Woof! in American English
Hong Hong! (for a big dog) in Thai
Bok Bok! (for a small dog) in Thai ; )
To celebrate the year of the dog, we went bak to that sweet little place known for its super cute bartender (Sam, the man!) and their coooool DJ who's dfntly FLG, L'Orangerie!!
1st off, gotta tell u we have loads of hot chicks on GOL, especially dressed in their Chinese traditional dress...ouch! Ck out the pics wen i post the links
Fifi...special thnx for bringing the gong..turns out L'orangerie had 1 as well, super loud so we really cudnt compete.
Thnx 2 all of u guys 4 coming 2 party with us, we had a super gr8 time. We didnt manage 2 have the whole bar 2 ourselves but since we were the 1st on 2 dance on the chairs, i consider us the overall winners.
Speaking of wins, kudos for best dressed goes to Double D, the only guy who appeared in a Chinese shirt (u looked grand, man!) and Katri, in a lovely flowered dress thats absolutely stunning. Believe me, it was hard 2 make the choice since u all looked super-gr8 (luved VeroB's take on the outfit - c the pics!) but we hadta.
C U next time for more fun fun fun!

Thanks to Phoebs and Tigger for throwing another amazing party last night !!
Place was nice, and good spirit and fun took over as the night went on (and the DJ arrived), some dancing was even involved (congrats to the performers considering the space they had on the seats) !!!
See you all at the next event !!

FiFi: after-party notes to self
1. When dancing on wooden benches, DO NOT wear high heels – walking the morning after will be painful.
2. When discussing sex techniques with Ulli, bear in mid: people are listening and they WILL take you seriously.
3. Stand back when the “rose man” comes in – he SMELLS (and not of roses).
4. Diet Coke makes you burp – either drink it OR do the flirting.
5. When responding to colleagues’ “What’s with you suddenly going back to Geneva for weekends?”, do NOT speak of GOL parties, they’ll be jealous.
6. When seeing GOL people upon return, give them the BIGGEST hug, they are the best bunch ever.
Tigger and Pheobs, thanks for a great party! Hugs from FiFi

Great party girls - as usual ! The music, the (very) cosy atmosphere & the people, at least those from GOL, were up to the beat.
Happy Chinese New Year to all ! Woof, woof ! (it's the year of the dog, isn't it ?)

Thanks to all of you that decided to join Friday night, I had a fantastic night out, dancing, ringing the gong, dancing, talking, meeting new members (for me I mean) like Kejser, Virginia, Gunther, Geja, Mindiosu... and the 30 others not-so-new-anymore :-)))
I would also like to thank the staff and manager of L'Orangerie, they welcomed and took care of us as their own friends. It's great to have such a place in Geneva. And of course... thank you Tigger for everything ;-)
Happy Chinese New year
