Hello,
I did it two years ago, this is really good and enjoyable and cheese in Gruyères is just fantastic. The Cailler factory is wonderful and after the visit the shop arrives.

That sounds interresting, and I am quite a fan of Giger's work and lets not get into the love for Chocolate ;)
From Zurich it is about two and a half ours to get to Gruyeres though, thus the first train would get me there at 10:00 with the last train going back from there at 21:58 thus 10 hours to do that should be more than plenty.
If you are willing to have a Dutch guy along, yell (either here in the forum or PM if you want to know more about me) and we can see where to meet up.
