Comedy Night @ Pickwicks
After a last minute decision to attend the event posted by SimSim. I went along to the pickwick to be entertained , initially the place seemed empty before realising that the event was in the non smoking lounge area with a wealth of comfy chairs and sofas. Not wishing to become a target for the evening I sat two or three rows back , although this proved to be futile as everybody sat in the rows behind anyway. The first comedian Andrew Lawrence struggled to engaged the crowd and little more than titter was achieved, probably not helped by his unfamiliarity with a Geneva crowd, and the reluctance of the crowd participation.

The second comedian Tom Stade (find him on youtube) by comparison was much funnier and had spot on observations , and with such a intimate venue we were able to chat with him after.

Although this was a free evening which was the determining factor for my attendance last night, if there are more acts like Tom I'll probably try to make it a regular haunt in the new year.

Thanks Simone for posting the event , hopefully we'll get a few more along in two weeks, as it's much easier to laugh in a big crowd.
