Well,we power-walked our way through lush greens and golds,coppers and russets,crossing rushing streams and observing stately carp weaving through silent,still ponds.

No sweating,no sausage-grilling,no ankle sprains.Yes,maybe time spent sitiing out in the sun drinking cooling drinks at the tea terrace-and later drinks in the sofas and armchairs at café Grancy out-weighed the walking time but..hey...this was a social event!
