Curry Club - Thoughts on the new Restaurant?

Bombay Cafe, Rue de Berne.

Thanks all for coming, great to see a few new faces - and well done for braving your 30 second intros...not an easy task, but being forced out of your comfort zone is good for you!  Maybe!

Ok, personally I thought the food was very good, great combination of dishes, very fresh variety of tastes and loads of it.  Lots of staff to keep us supplied with drink (a feature some other restaurants lack) and a nice layout and location.  So, thumbs up from me, definately on the 'worth going back to' list.  Thanks to Christian (Justdoit) to letting me know about it and introducing me to the owner.... so if anyone else comes across a good restaurant, let me know and I'll try and do a deal for the Club.

Also, the owner, Amjad, even boxed up a few more portions for me (a welcome perk) so I'll be enjoying it all over again tonight with extra marinated flavours...yum!

Desir_ee you should have taken it , then Curry Night would only have cost 5Chf..



It's probably why Dean has the the curry nights around Paquis for those who find the 35chf a bit steep. :D:D:D

Thanks again Dean. I was so looking forward to "the curry club" night after a bit of a break and it was well worth the wait.I had a great night. I really liked the food and there was plenty of it.

Thanks Dean for yet another great Curry Club Night out - you really make it all happen!

Food was superb, nice resto and service was great too!

Looking forward to going back again for another feast of yummy curry...

Hi Dean,

This was a good choice - the food was good (and there was plenty of it), and I found the service was friendly and efficient (at least I didn't notice anything amiss). We can definitely go back there! It was a fun evening too - and it's always good to catch up with friends and make some new ones. Thanks!

If you are looking for new restaurants to go to, there is an excellent one in Ferney Voltaire (forgot the name but think it was rue de Versoix), which I have already tried.

I was told there was also a very good one in Divonne, will look out the name for you if interested.
