With only short notice Dean managed to choose a restaurant that not only was able to provide space for us but gave us the same great deal we receive on all other Curry nights.
The usual suspects arrived at the Britannia Pub (not the classiest joint in town), for a few beers before heading next door to the Shahi , although we did wait for a few stragglers (you know who you are :-) ) before sitting down in the restaurant ,
The food was good and plentiful (We will be going again) , with a reduced number (17) there were no 30 Sec intros this time for the newbies- as we were all able to chat quite easily.
After the meal most of us then had a quick drink in Britannia (where Dean was touting for business in his new occupation .. How many Kgs did you sell?) before heading to Scandale,
Dean thanks for organising

...Yeah...I should think things through before accusing pub locals of dealing on my patch... especially when they look like Ronaldino! He saw the funny side and even insisted on buying me a drink... hold on... perhaps he thought I really was a Colombian drug baron??
Anyway, top night, really great food I thought, a nice cosy crowd... and as always James outpaced everyone with staying power... it'll be Sunday before he recovers I think!
Thanks everyone for coming, especially the first-timers, hope you enjoyed the food and the company of our mad bunch... but quite a tame, almost civil evening really!
Thanks all!
