Okay what I say that hasn't been said about the now famous curry club.. very little.
The venue for this week was the Little Indian , and the food didn't disappoint,. Although the limit is 25 for the private room we did manage with some rearrangement to squeeze another 3 people in, which made it a very cosy affair.
The 30 second introduction was revived as we had so many new people this time, and even a few of the oldies reintroduced themselves.
If you haven't been to one , check the activities for the next as they soon become full.

It was only my second Curry Club event and I'm glad that I was able to make it out again. Sitting around eating good food in great company is always a recipe for a fun night.
If you go back the this restaurant be aware of the naan as it can have a bite!
Cheers,
Matt

...I commented on the naan bread last night... The chef told me it was because we always want the curry to be hotter... so they put chillis in the naan! I'm sure it made sense to them...still, it was good! A bit like wanting colder beer and being given ice to suck first...! Indian logic I guess!
Was is just me, or was anyone else stuffed after the starter?? It was massive!!! I'm not a starter kinda guy, I just like to plough into a main...but shouldn't complain about too much food really!
16 new members initiated...hope we haven't scared you off! Thanks for providing the entertainment...some very funny moments! Good to meet you all! And thanks for the lovely company of the delightful person sitting next to me...no, not you Butch, to my right!
Well done also (I might as well keep waffling now I've started) to the Brit trio (2 northerners and mr Diamond Geezer) Excellent performance on you forfeits...everyone else, please take note...when you're told to finish your pint...don't moan, just do it, or things get worse! Hats off to Andrew and Matt as well for giving me a new view on the American drinking capabilities...good effort!
Thanks to the regulars and the irregulars that were there again...nice to see James back and up to his old tricks...getting wasted and telling everyone how much he loves them! We love you too big man...just don't hug us all too hard with your big tree trunk arms and those ham hands of yours!
So...I hope you all enjoyed the food and had a good night out.
Chao for now!

Our first curry club and we had a fantastic night. Great company, great entertainment, great food, great place. Thanks to you Deano for organising this regular event and we look forward to the next one. You are right about the starter, pretty impresive and tasty selection just for a starter. Glad I was warned about the Naan bread before I took a bite though! James's face said it all. Claire and Matt

Hopefully will try to show up a bit earlier next time, but have to admit the welcome was great :-) Thanks for organizing, I had a great time, and for sure will see you all around

Thanks to dean for a great night out! It was my first curry night and I had such a good time. The food was yummy and I met so many nice people (and saw some old friends too). I will definitely be joining you for another curry night in the future! Cheers!

This was (finally) my first curry club and won't be my last if I have anything to do with it ;-)Many thanks to Dean for doing all the organizing. The food was delicious and it was lovely to meet such a fun crowd - lots of new faces but some old friends as well. Keep up the great work :-) Marianne
