For once the well oiled machinery of organisation failed the Curry CLub, as we turned up at the Restaurant (Little India) to find , just like the 3 bears "Someone Sitting in my Chair". After a brief discussion the reason is explained , they thought we were coming next week! So it's up to the Pickwick to join the drinkers for an additional hour in the pub whilst the other people finish their meals.
Back to the Restaurant and we soon are seated (after removing a few slow eaters), I think due to the confusion we seem to have more food than usual , but I'm not complaining and another evening passes in pleasant company.
Well done Dean from saving the evening from what could have been a disaster.
Hope to see some photos as there was lots of flashing during the meal

Yes Trev...a near disaster...So firstly a big sorry and an equally big 'Thank-You' to everyone for sticking it out an extra hour in Pickwicks...(Mmmm...like extra drinking was ever going to be a problem!) Seriously though, with about 15 regulars and 10 new faces, it was a great mix of people that all got on well and generated a really enjoyable atmosphere...it just seems to keep getting better!! I thought that it was a bit rushed once we were seated, but the food was great and there was plenty of it.... and dessert seemed to go missing...I'll have a word with the restaurant and make sure that we get our money's worth for next time... but hopefully everyone was satisfied! So...thank-you for your patience, your company and I look forward to seeing you all again soon. :o)
