A change of venue and a change of format, this time at the Royal India and a Buffet.
After the few pre drinks at the Grand Duke, we made our way to the Restaurant. The owner seemed very pleased to have us as he had put a Large Sign outside welcoming us. As the first of the group to arrive by about 10 minutes (always get the best seat then) , we were greeted by the Owner you decided to tell us his life story or as much as you can in 10 minutes, then the hoards arrived, we now have almost 40 people attending the event and always a nice mixture of the old and new members (when I say old , we've only been doing this since October!). As always Dean floats around making sure we are happy and we always are. A thanks also to Juana for collecting all the money at the beginning of the evening , so much easier when you want to leave.

Cheers Dean & co had a great night at our first Curry Night. As usual plenty of friendly GOL'ers, good food, slightly eccentric owner (in a good way) and excellent host. N & B

Thanks everyone for turning up, it was a great night once again! I think the food was by far the best yet in Geneva and a great bunch of staff who really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Vinay, the owner, a retired Indian national has been in Geneva about 300 years, speaks as many languages and has the energy of an average 18 year old...I think he made about 40 new best friends last night! It's a venue that's certainly going to be revisited, Vinay boasts that he can cater for 50....Bring it on!! Mildly peeved that 4 people didn't show without the curteosy of texting me...you know who you are, I've considered naming you, but that'll take me out of my comfort zone ethically, so instead you have a life ban from the curry club... I do make it as politely clear as possible. Also, those that didn't hear from me was because your reply to the advert was something like 'count me in'...that was it...3 words... bit cheeky not saying who you are or why you want to come...so bollocks... go on your own! Anyway.... great night, great food...spicy too, and great company...Big thanks to all, see you again soon!
