Cycling adventure to Nyon ;-)
Dear all,

What an incredible, cool, funny, action packed Monday. :hehe:  :w00t:

I should start by saying sorry for having arrived late… but you all heard my excuse, it was sooo good to meet you all. 16 people in total, one child, and two King Charles Spaniels (dogs)

Gosh, it was defiantly a different way to cycle, the two dogs barking for a while, and jumping off the bicycle…gosh, our cycling trip sounds like an action movie:

3 punchers shortly before Nyon,  what next?

Thank goodness for the British Armey. YES, we had a real Captain on our cycling trip! How lucky can you get?  Even better, the Captain is a lovely girl… with the best sense of humour, I think many of us are still laughing, I will not repeat here what was said on the road, I have a feeling it would get censored…

In between the dogs need water as well, it was really a cycling trip with a difference. Finally we arrive in Nyon. Our park benches are free, we eat and some have a well deserved nap. My hat falls in to the water, gosh, no other way then to go inside as well, I am just so glad no one got to see me, (I know I look like a lobster, got sun burned on Sunday on the lake) :w00t:

Coffee time, brilliant timing, we got to meet the girls who arrived by car from Geneva. Time to hit the road and pedal back to Geneva. Gosh, my tyre is flat, there is nothing one can do – so I am taking the train back to Geneva. Well, I missed some more action, heard that 2 stunning looking guys had a puncture, who helps? No need to ask, our British Armey Captain helps…you are our new star, together with Matthias who now takes care of dogs...and there is one more person, are your changing your name? :w00t:  :hehe:

I got back to Geneva in 15 minutes; well after all I have to organize the welcome drinks at La terrasse…

To all of you, THANK YOU sooo much for a GREAT day! …ok, the day finished by 7pm, managed to say hello to the GVA runners….see you all soon for more cycling adventures. ;)

Wishing you a fantastic happy week. :)

Dear Ellen,

Many thanks again for having organized this wonderful biking activity, with a special mention for your very positive and enthusiastic way of being and your kindness towards each participant. :)

I also would like to thank all the members of the team for their much appreciated help with the well-being and security of Nouschka and Benjy-my two Cavaliers King Charles- all along this perilous trip, with a special mention to Matthias who generously accepted to take one of my dog on his bike. :)
