DIYers Part 2
Thank ALL OF YOU ! for making it not just active but so much fun! I elect Mister Sark as co-organizer because he is a natural and also he would never put strange comments on the forum...
Last night, we checked out two appartments (mine and Bio's). Some work is already started for Sylph's place as well as Mister Sark's. We will post some pictures soon.

When you see someone's humble abode, you really get to know them better and also challenge them to try a completely new look. (I was advised to switch my living room and entrance completely and the more I think of it,the better I like the idea).

Yes there are openings for others who wish to join. According to the number of appartments to be improved, you can count that many Sundays of your busy or hungover lives painting walls, moving, building and modifying furniture, transforming closets, doing window treatments and choosing decorations. Of course, to some good tunes and good food and silly conversations (such as last night)...

And it goes without saying that we will have some DIY uniforms, badges, flags, secret hand-shakes and gruesome initiation rites for our clandestine group.
Next week, everyone please bring your you-know-what...
Cheers,
MarmarK

thank you marmark and biorb_owner for your hospitality on tuesday. it is true, that you see people in a different, better way if you have seen how they live.

i am still impressed with marmarks apartment. really cool with weird wallpaper doors, a defunct food elevator which is a breakfast nook now and a fireplace i would kill for, not to mention her wonderful floors which are so old that they make these charming noises when you walk on them.

It´s so funny that people, yes you biorb_owner, excuse themself for their tiny apartments which turned out to be a very spacious living quarter with a huge balcony and a bathroom so big and modern that most of us will turn green with envy compaired to our pre war or at least looking like that bathrooms.

sylph, darling get ready for some drilling while you fire up your sewing machine for my courtains.

lazen and and di2006, no worries, we will invade your apartments soon.

last but not least thank you for proposing me as the co-organizer, i will ensure that we will do our DIYs in style with a sleek tailored overall and matching basecap. ;)

see you girls soon...

which is crucial at this point. But thank you for the compliments. It was amaziing the calm repose one felt in Bio's living room as opposed to my entrance. Thanks all and lets plan the next bit (the action) quite soon. Anyhw, Di2006, we are at your place on the 16th.
