Hi Guys, that was a superb walk on Saturday!
Incredible views and amazingly warm weather.
Sorry that the lac was empty..ahem.. oh well we saw some lovely waterfalls at le bout du Monde to make up for it.
It was super to see all the regulars and I hope to see some of you newbies again soon.
A big heartfelt thanks to all those who helped with the car sharing... Andre, Jason, John, and Veronique. It wouldn't be possible to take so many people without your help.
There are some photos on line now and I'm thinking about next weeks hike already.
I'll let you know when I've worked out where to go!
See you all soon,
kindest regards,
Phillip

Hi Phillip,
keep up the good work! It is great to find a group of people that prefer hiking on Saturdays instead of shopping :-)
Cheers,
Eduardo

starting point is the "Fer-a-Cheval" (horse shoe) just behind the village of Sixt - Fer-a-Cheval, which again is located behind Samoens. The lake is not far from the Swiss border (Dents Blanches).
The end of the valley is rightly called Bout du Monde - End of the World
Great hike indeed, must also be good in second half May or June when there will be plenty of water in the waterfalls.
