Girls and guys, thanks a lot for coming yesterday! Sorry my stomach was giving me some grief! And yes, it was the stomach, don't start any rumours!!
Hoiling, Stef, NirO, Site Admin, Luca, Phoebe, Michael (a future GOLer), Sutchi, Fifi, Ulli, Keleko and myself had a very gourmet dinner (with the price that goes with it!). We also had some riddles, logic games, jokes. Tough to say we ain't logic people at all.....let's blame it on the wine...

not sure about the frenc spelling ... but ... it was really evil!
Thanks Iolly for organizing it was really a nice idea, and also thanks to all the GOL that were there yesterday for the warm welocome to my friend and future GOL member Michal :)
I'm quoting his words: "the dinner was really cool and this idea of the online community is great! People are cool and fun and I can't wait to start posting for Surfing or snowboarding activities".
Now, back to the dinner ... and the title of the email ...
I don't know how, but everytime I come to an event/party with the best intention to stay sober, I never manage!
I have to say that yesterday we had some really nice food (thou if u want a tip - never choose the "low calories" choice in the menu, my soup was nice but compared to the resto of the gourmet food ... didn't stand a chance) and for what I saw an even more delicious dessert - Choccolate Fondue eaters can confirm :)
Great company, nice and "deep" conversation - e.g. Mafia and orgies :), and everything was going fine till someone order the second round of "digestive" (kindly offered from the restaurant) and I threw away my intent to stay sober and order what the others got - a so called Motie-motie without knowing what it was.and even worse, after sipping it and deciding that the tast was "not too bad" deciding to drinking it in a shot with Phoebe and Ulli. The pictures can prove the effect.
The rest of the evening is kinda "unclear". Gentleman Keleko drove me home and I collapsed in bed (alone) at around 1:30ish
Not bad for a Tuesday evening!!
C ya to the next one!!
Vale

How could it not be? Success N 1: I actually found the place! and great that I did – it lead to Success N2: meeting really wonderful people and thoroughly enjoying the evening. And we ain’t done with that discussion yet! Thank you Iolly for being so welcoming and ignoring the dizziness (so just upset stomach, huh? Sure?..), and thank you everyone for being such warm, fun people. See ya’ll soon

LOVELY bunch on people!
(and i love Omnibus, for the matter).
But let me downsize the previous reports :-P
- Hoiling in always drunk, isn't she? :-P so what's new in it?
- Iolly had nauseas and it wasn't the cuisine. Shw swears it's only the stomach and we beleive her (don't we? ;-))
- the riddles and logical games: nobody guessed anything, so business as usual :-)
- the conversation on the orgy was on the goody goody get together among drunken and wasted party goers, gentlemen and gentlewomen in the infamous room 520 and 518, most of you passed by! :-) (Nice idea, Luca and Keleko!)
- the conversation on Mafia NEVER HAPPENED! YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT MAFIA!!! MAFIA DOESN'T EXIST!!! :-D lol
(and i love Omnibus, for the matter).

All these nice drinks were actually served with an accompanying item, somewhat solid, called food. Even though I was intrigued and not sure I could handle something not in liquid form (usually all I need to keep the motor running) I bravely tried this unusual substance. Many dishes of solid later - I must say I was quite impressed & may even like to try this some other time in some other place. Do any of you know were else in Geneva they serve this yummy side item to drinks, called food ? Great company btw, as usual for GOl events, thanks Iolly for organizing everything :-)

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the dinner with all of you guys.
As the headline says, the food and drinks were very good, but the company made the night really special for me.
Was great meeting new people and seeing some 'old timers' again.
Thanks to Iolly for organizing and for all the rest for participating.
Looking forward to the next one.
Oded

She's got all our wishes granted...Very nice restaurant (I have to go back cause I didn't have the chance to try the food last night), fantastic people, deep talk and good laughs.
Stef.. I said Godmother.. not Godfather... everyone knows that the Mafia is an urban myth. Such a "family club" can not exist lol
Ulli, I want the pics taken before, while and after the "moiti?-moiti?" thingy :-)))
Thanks all for your wonderful company.
