Dinner at Faim? and the Dinkle measuring contest
Well....I must say, I definitely got the smallest Dinkle tonight! But it was quite tasty with a good head!! Ok, ok.....talking about a Swiss beer here!! ;)

Dinner at Faim? was loads of fun!! Fantastic food, drinks, conversation, and company!!! There were eight of us in all: myself, FiFi, vinnie, Keleko, tasmin, pntbreakrick (or peanutbutterRick), Turi, and Matt.

Thanks so much FiFi for organizing tonight!! Definitely the best (and only) Dinkle I have ever had!! ;)

Isn’t it?! Instantly good mood, joy and lovely company are now officially the unique and best features of GOL events. Thank you, again, BetZ (and a bit of a twin), Keleko, Vinnie, Turi, MrBeau, Tasmin and Mr PeanutButter (oops, sorry, pntbreakrick) for coming and being such fun company. Thank you, Dinkel, for being a perfect host, feeding us so well, and providing extra … eeeaa drink-name-related entertainment! Can’t wait to see you all soon – hugs from FiFi (gone to the airport, but will be back on Saturday night just for the party, so go easy on that pub crawl, guys, I want to see you all!)

Cause Tasmin and BetZ are the Pisco Cleaners....(Kind of like Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction) If you have a problem, and there is Pisco involved, there is no problem :-)

Great night all ! Enjoyed hanging out with in the midst of your lovely company.

Ciao,
PB Rick

Ah..double meaning... :-)

Ahh yes...but as I was told, Pisco was trademarked by Chile, so doesn't it make it the Chilean national drink? (You weren't at dinner but we talked about this fuzzy area of who can claim rights to the Pisco name). I argued Peruvian but trademark is Chilean (according to Tasmin), finally I just want to drink it cause it's sooo good. Thanks Dinkel for the truckload. It should last one more GOL dinner I think :-)

....now I no longer wonder what you are, I'll be ordering you in every bar! (talking about beer here..)
Have to say, was good stuff! Dare I even say that a Dinkel tastes better than a Guinness..?! Hey that could be worth discussing at a next GOL dinner-

I had a great night-thanks to all of you for making it so pleasant and fun!It was great meeting you all and thanks again to you Fifi for organising it! Ok, so I didn't get any nachos, but Dinkel, didn't you say something about putting nachos on the evening menu next time GOL members came by? Yes yes, I'm sure you did...

See you all Saturday!

V.

What else can I say being peruvian? Maybe Chile export it more to the world than Peru but Pisco is a region in the peruvian coast and it has a large tradition. Unluckily I run out of my reserves otherwise I will let you taste our wonderful Pisco sour! Keep enjoying and will love to join you sometime for a chat!

I think it's a theme. Chile vs. Peruvian Pisco sours. Who's up for the challenge? Tough words from Swigirl and Tasmin. I am willing to be a blindfolded taste tester !!

Ciao!
Rick
