Dinner at Iolly's on the 20th Jan
First of all, thank you so much to all those who came. Second, I apologise if some felt like sardines while sitting at the table (indeed the table was originally conceived for 6 people, and 15 were there, so......). I hope you still enjoyed the evening! I really really loved it; it's always a pleasure to cook for that many people! It looked like a big family gathering together to spend a great moment. To be repeated for sure!!!

Thanks IOlly for having us ... it was really a nice evening... and I even got to have some adult conversation in the end!!
Jokes aside...
Food and companuy were lovely ... I still didn't use my new UNO extreme ... and the kids were SO SWEET (yeah even when they were jumping all over me...still ... sweetly jumping!)

Thanks Iolly!!

It was a great night, one of the best I've had in a long while. Iolly' great food is no news to me cos I eat it every night (you can tell), but the news was such great company, that keeps getting better. It's simply amazing how we were strangers days ago, and friends now.

BUT, I want to tell you about the behind the scenes.

Iolly worked like a dog to make this great evening. She took a half day off on Friday to cook, and spent a half day on saturday cleaning the house (with no help from her partner!). Not to mention the money and energy that went into the cooking. And she does it from the heart - opening up her house and heart for friends.

Iolla - you live the friendly spirit everyday. Thanks from all of us.

I know how hard Lolly's been working for us. I wish I could give some of her kindness back a way or another. Trying my best at least... but what can you make about it ? There's only one Mother Theresa ! ;-)

Lolly, just give me a call anytime if you need a help: painting, moving furnitures, baby-sitting, play santa claus, etc.

Hobbes... reading Gandhi to improve ! :-D
