Educating Rita - great evening !

Thanks Robyn (bobyn) for organising for over 10 of us GOLers a nice moment of professional english theatre - rare to get that quality of actors without going to London or New York. The actress was especially good. Its on till Sunday so suggest to anyone that can still make it - go see it ! (wwww.simplytheatre.com for schedule)

warm, fuzzy,intellectual and literate..a funny play from Willy Russel who considers himself a 'working class bloke'.
The play is about a faltering, alcoholic, cynical college professor against the overwhelming charm, youth and optimism of his student Rita reminding us of the things that we take for granted, like education !
Had a good time watching the play following with some drinks (ethno) with friendly Gol'ers ...
