Ok, about my secret twister game for a pre-valentine play, it didn't quite work out the way i wanted to. This is what happens when you chinse out on cheap yarn vs. proper ribbons, which would not have entangled the way my yarns did, but it was entertaining at least watching me.. non? :P
As for the venue, I know there were some folks smoking, but this is a local bar where the locals are used to smoking, but I did appreciate our members going outside when requested. I especially appreciated the ladies working last night, Nuccia & Daniella. They were just so pleasant, and most of all very generous to offer us champagne on the house to enjoy with the cake!! Thank you ladies!!
In the end we never really snuck downstairs to lounge around on the big comfy sofa, but I do hope it will be a place people consider for future venues.
I would like take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made this event soo enjoyable to host month after month, for my friends helping transporting the cake, the freindly welcomers and helpers... I will miss these events after I leave, but know that I will probably continue this tradition in my next port of call.
Details of next month will be posted soon, but it may come in multiple forms - joint birthday party, farewell, final farewell.... and just like Donald Trump, I may host a "Birthday Fairy Apprentice" :w00t: so stay tuned!
