Interesting... food, location, ambiance. See the pictures. Though some found the meat suspect, the vegetarians enjoyed their selection. The 3 legged stools were a challenge for those with stability problems. And not to forget the local drink - fermented honey - served in .... hrmm.... specimen bottles?
It was a fun evening. Sitting in a circle, sharing food from the same platter plus being kids again by eating with our fingers was condusive to friendly banter and improvised kidding around.... We even had a wet flannel scenario using as a prop, an Ethiopian pancake.
Thanks for sharing this evening. I enjoyed it very much.

It sure was fun and yummy too-as a vegetarian I enjoyed mushing together all the veggies and beans and using my fingers to eat. Can't wait to see what country's cuisine will be featured next on the event listing.
Thanks so much Marcia for organizing an unforgettable evening, Karin
