We were about 30 friendly people rolling around Geneva (Bastions, Queue d'Arve, Accacias, Carouge, Vessy, Bastions) for about 1h30. It started quite badly as one of us (I'll let the one give out his name himself if he dares) landed on his nose after only 50 meters of the ride. But after this first aid practice session, it all went smooth.
Rollerbalding is clearly a very nice way to visit some of Geneva less popular places, go out to enjoy the nice weather, and meet same minded people. As we had to stop quite often (red lights, get water from a fountain, etc), and we didn't run that fast, we had plenty oportunities to chat with others. A cool team spirit could be felt on the way back, everybody having fun with each other, as if we had been friends for a long time. After the official ride, we went on the lake side to get even more of it. Some kicked it hard to full speed, others just enjoyed the scenery. A dozen of us finally went for a late pasta dinner together. A great evening for sure.
For all that, we'll go again next monday ! Thanks again for the ones who came yesterday, and to "Lundi roller" team !
PS:
- girls, I can't believe you chickened out at 150 meters away from the restaurant ! Pasta were sooooo good ! ;-)
- Eagle, I publicaly recognize that I owe you 26.- chf. Don't forget to remind it to me next time !

I really had a great time on monday night too....As you just mentioned Hobbes, it was a great opportunity to visit Geneva and to chat with a bunch of people sharing the same hobby! ;o))
Mmmmm but i guess the second part of the ride (the lake part) was a bit too much for me...uhhh my stomach was aching soo bad from Hunger....and most of all....i was tired.... lol
Well anyway I regretted not going to the Restaurant with all of you guys afterwards...but I promis..next time, I'll go!!!
See yaaaaaaaaa,

Even if I fell after trying to avoid someone who fell just next to me and hurt very bad my nose and knee :-( I really enjoyed the tour. Just one advice, even if you are a confirmed roller-blader like me, wear protections if you come (and even if you don't !). The nose could not have been prevented, but the hands and the knee could have ... Anyway, don't be scared by such incidents (I already started skating again today :-)), the tour made me discover nice little places I had never visited (I lived 17 years in Geneva, shame on me !). And cool-romantic restaurants on the way. See you soon at the lundi-roller ;-)
