Thanks Tiffany for the idea (a system of all reading and discussing one agreed book each month, rotating turns at a different member's house) and Gregory for hosting us all last evening.
Had an interesting review on The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls -- compare and discuss, argue and bicker, laugh and gossip over the characters, settings, the author and her style.
...a perfect way to making reading a pleasurable way of extending yourself, without it being a chore.

I hate to say it, but we're full! The max # of people that a book club can support -- especially when we meet at people's apartments for a homecooked meal / drinks -- is about 12, and we hit that within hours of posting the idea a few months back.
We even have a few people on a waiting list (I haven't forgotten about those of you who were just a little too late in signing up). I'll happily add you and anyone else who is interested to the waitlist if you want!
I love that GOL is so full of people who love to read!

Nice discussion on the "Glass Castle" - and great company ! - hope more people will make it next time to on March 22nd, so that there is even more varied opinions on the next book - The Perfume, by Patrick Suskind - chosen at a majority. Details of book & venue will be sent to Book club members emails. See u all next time !

Please send me a GOL email. I'm keeping all of the waitlist emails there to refer to in the future!
